Shaun grew up here in Point, and did a lot of geeky stuff like Debate, Youth in Government, and band. Then he went off to school at the U of MN where he studied history, but mostly hung out and was a frat boy and stuff. One summer he had a job that involved marching around with a musket and firing cannons. He liked that job.

After proving that state schools will give *anyone* a diploma, he moved back to Stevens Point and got a job at Associated Bank, where his spirit was crushed. After having lived in a frat house, he decided he had to try to find other new and fun ways of getting himself killed, like chasing tornados and playing with firearms.

That didn't work, so he decided to leave Point again and moved up to the Alaskan bush with his fiancee, who must not have realized he was crazy when she agreed to marry him. Now he keeps his mind off the fact that he lives somewhere where there is no booze, no roads, and lots of snow by zooming around the tundra on boats and snowmobiles, wondering why the eskimos occasionally ask him to "educate" their kids.

Shaun got married in 2007 (to a member of another team…scandal!) and has a little one on the way in May. He will be restraining himself from forcing the child to take notes for at least a couple of years.
