Returning to Stevens Point in 2012 after 6 years wandering the tundra of western Alaska, Shaun manages to get sucked deeper and deeper down the Trivia wormhole each year. A 1997 graduate of SPASH and 2001 graduate of the University of Minnesota with a degree in some useless Liberal Arts thing, he has been playing Trivia in some capacity since 1989...though not always full time with Dad's. In junior high, he says, Trivia made for an excellent excuse for weekend-long social opportunities. After committing to Dad's full time in his college years, he discovered that playing the contest itself was well worth the effort, much to the detriment of the months of January through April ever since. Ever conscious of preserving the future of the contest, Shaun and his wife Sara have joined Dad's Computers' advanced "Trivia Player Breeding Project", contributing surviving specimens Isaac (4) and Henry (2) to the effort. During Trivia weekend Shaun can often be found arguing for incorrect answers (often on film), confidently shouting misheard lyrics, and troubleshooting issues with his computer, such as why his camera is failing to move the mouse pointer on his laptop screen. |
